The Brodnica Nordic Walking Park offers over 26 km of clearly waymarked nordic walking routes. The Park features four routes: • yellow – 3.2 km • green – 4.8 km • red – 8.2 km, around Lake Strażym • black – 9.9 km
The trailheads are located in Grzmięca, at the car park by the headquarters of Brodnica Landscape Park. The routes run along the park's forest tracks and roads; along the way you'll find, among others, the Bachotek and Retno nature reserves, the meandering Skarlanka River and the post-glacial lakes Kochanka, Retno, Strażym and Strzemiuszczek. Small sections run along asphalt, a sidewalk and dirt roads.
There are boards with exercise suggestions for self-guided use and heart rate measurement points along the routes. The trails share junctions and intersect, so it's easy to lengthen or shorten a walk or change direction. This is a proposition not only for nordic walking enthusiasts but also for runners and cross-country skiers.
